We got a little bored.... and then it got out of hand
When you put a bunch of co-oppers together constantly for months during a pandemic, well, apparently this is what you get. We spent way too many hours prepping our costumes, designed our stage, and editing photos. It was a spark of joy in the middle of a very hard year.
So we're fundrasing
As many of you know, Syntropy house is owned by Madison Community Cooperative. This means that, even as a cooperatively-run home, the vast majority of our rent goes to MCC each month, leaving limited funding for our house.

Here's how we'll use your contributions:
-
Repairing our front door
-
Buying firewood to keep ourselves warm in winter
-
Replacing our toaster oven, which was a fire hazard waiting to happen
Honoring J*
J* lived here from May 2019 to July 2020, during some of the hardest times of their life, as they fought for a good life for themselves in the midst of a hard and brutal world. J* is the star of many of these pictures, lighting up the frame with seductive eyes, a huge smile, and impeccable costuming.
If anyone who had a relationship with J* would like photos of them, we're happy to send them your way. If you'd like to contribute financially, we'll send funds over to their sister to support funeral costs.
